We're Peachy, a venture-backed startup working to improve patients’ physical, mental, and financial health with simplified payments and proactive credit reporting. We're hiring a backend engineer to help.

• The Role - What You Will Do:

  • Engineering
    • Build high quality, purpose-driven products that have a meaningful and measurable impact on people's holistic health.
    • Own the backend stack and products end to end
    • Interface with archaic industries and systems
    • Implement product and engineering methodologies
    • Ship often, measure, and repeat
    • Collaborate in technical reviews to strengthen our architecture and system designs

• Who are you?

  • Must have's
    • Passionate about making healthcare accessible and affordable, improving people's holistic health, and breaking the debt cycle
    • Embrace design and product thinking, ability to filter out noise
    • Experience developing full-stack web applications
    • A security mindset familiar with datasets and vulnerabilities specific to the healthcare and financial industries. We embrace zero-trust principles.
    • Not afraid to throw code out and rebuild
    • Comfortable with the unknown, curious, and excited to learn

  • What we're solving:

    • At Peachy, we’re not building a tool to make medical billing better, we're transforming it completely! The existing system is broken–and we're going to fix it.

      We're building a patient-focused payment platform that makes it easier, faster, and more rewarding to pay your medical bills. We're solving issues surrounding bill notification, payment-plan setup, and credit reporting.

      While we're at it, we're also helping healthcare professionals get paid faster–and more fully than they do when they rely on collection agencies! It’s a win-win.

    • Peachy is an early stage company with less than [10] employees. We recently raised our first round of funding and are now making key hires that will impact the trajectory of the company for years to come.
